Yes, if you live in a particularly hard water area you might have to adjust the dosage of Dishwashing detergent. You may also try adding 1 or 2 tea spoons of detergent on the bottom of the dishwasher in addition to the normal dosage in the detergent chamber.
Your dishwashing detergent should be stored in a dry environment. Keep the pack sealed and after each use keep the product dry and try to avoid spills. Like all cleaning products, store your detergent out of the reach of children.
Fill your rinse aid dispenser (which is usually next to the Detergent dosage cup) with our Fortune Rinse Aid. Wipe up any spilled product.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
WASHING MACHINE: Make sure there are no clothes inside the washing machine. Fill your machine with 1-2 litres of water and subsequently pour Fortune Descaler powder directly into the drum. Set the programmer on wash mode. Run a full Wash Cycle. In case of Fully Automatic Machines pour the powder in the detergent container and run a full wash cycle. Run the machine empty for 15 minutes for rinsing and drain the water. Remove the drain filter, clean and refit the filter.
DISHWASHER: Empty the Dishwasher of all dishes and cutlery. Pour Fortune Descaler into the Detergent Dispenser up to normal level and sprinkle the remaining onto the Dishwasher Floor. Run a normal wash cycle without Pre-Rinse. To remove any build up from area around the door seals and hinges, prepare a solution by mixing Fortune Descaler in water and pour on the effected area. For heavy build-up, leave the solution on for a few minutes before wiping off.
COFFEE MAKER: Mix half sachet of Fortune Descaler with 1 litre of water in the machine jug and pour into the water reservoir. Mix using a plastic or wooden spoon. Assemble without filter paper and operates as normal. Boil through about half the solution. Switch off and leave for ten minutes. Boil through the rest of the solution and pour away. Boil at least twice again with clean water before use.
SHOWER HEADS & FAUCETS: Detach Shower head from hose or, if fixed remove sprinkler nozzle. Dissolve 1 table spoon of Fortune Descaler in sufficient hot water to cover the shower head holes. Mix using a plastic or wooden spoon. Leave the shower head in the solution for some time. Rinse in cold water and re-assemble. In case of Faucets, make a workable solution of Fortune Descaler Powder, use a soft tooth brush or a cloth to rub this solution on the faucet surface. Rinse for clean and shiny faucets.
TILES: Prepare a workable aqueous paste in a plastic container, use a scrubber to rub this paste on the tiles or the effected area. Pls Note: This is not to be used on Marble Flooring.
